Novare CIS is the management company (MANCO) of Novare Investments Services. Novare CIS is a registered Collective
Investment Scheme Manager and offers a range of unit trusts to suit the needs of both retail and institutional clients. Novare CIS
(RF) (Pty) Limited (Novare CIS) was approved as a Management Company on 3 October 2014 by the Financial Services Board
(FSB) and thereby enables Novare Investment Services to house our own product offerings.
On 27 November 2015, Novare CIS was approved as the first Manager of Hedge Fund Schemes in South Africa. This enabled
Novare to launch the first regulated retail hedge funds in South Africa. Two schemes were subsequently approved, the Novare
Collective Investments Scheme in Retail Investor Hedge Funds, and the Novare Collective Investments Scheme in Qualified
Investor Hedge Funds.
Novare CIS has a number of existing portfolios managed by Novare Investments and has assets under management of
approximately R11 billion as at December 2023.
