Basic Navigation
These help pages are designed to assist with questions of navigation and functionality. For information about industry terms and data content, please consult the Fundpaedia.
Top Menu
The main work areas of the site are accessed via the top menu:
- Home : Return to starting page. Also contains links to daily prices (newspaper style), Fundpaedia, FAQ and help.
- Managers: Indexes of management companies – also available via ≡ (top right hamburger menu).
- Funds: Indexes of funds – also available via ≡ (top right hamburger menu).
- Watch Lists : Set up your own lists of funds to keep track of and compare.
- User Portfolios : Record funds held by yourself or clients and analyse holdings and performance.
- Toolbox : A range of functions to assist with analysing funds, finding investments and comparing fund characteristics.
- Admin : Subscription options, password management and the like.
Fund Sub-Menu
The second-tier menu appears when you select a fund:
- Summary: An overview containing key details from other tabs, including the latest price, a line chart, a performance graph, important fund facts, the fund's objective, and the fund's asset allocation and top holdings.
- Fund Details: Comprehensive information on a range of technical details, management, fees, statutory data and distributions.
- Asset Allocation: A detailed analysis of top ten holdings and holdings by major asset categories that allows quarterly comparisons
- Holdings: Full portfolio holdings for each fund (where available), including the ability to do quarterly comparisons
- News: Latest fund commentary (where available)
- Performance: A detailed view of fund performance including quick-view line charts, a standardised performance table (CAGR), discrete rolling performance, and trailing returns (annualised rates-of-return and absolute value growth)
- Performance Calculator: Allows subscribers to plot fund performance for customised periods against selected benchmarks for a range of return options.
- Risk Profile: A detailed view of a fund's risk/return characteristics, including standard risk measures and an interactive scatter plot.
Watchlists
Click on the Watchlists menu item to access your watchlists.
Either add a new watchlist or click on an existing watchlist to either edit funds or to view the analysis options for a fund (these are displayed in a tabbed sub-menu once a watchlist is selected)
